Description:

Kenya Kiangai is a vibrant expression of Kenyan terroir, produced by the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative Society in the country’s renowned highland growing region. Around 950 smallholder farmers cultivate coffee at 1,600–1,800 metres above sea level, delivering their ripe cherries to the Kiangai wet mill, located just metres from the Kibirigwi River.

Here, a meticulous washed process defines the cup. Only fully ripe cherries are hand-sorted, pulped, and fermented overnight before being carefully washed, graded, and dried on raised beds for 8–14 days. This patient, precise approach brings clarity, bright acidity, and vivid fruit character to the final cup.

Beyond quality, Kiangai represents community and progress. The cooperative supports its farmers with agronomy guidance, seedling propagation, and sustainable farming initiatives—ensuring both the land and its coffee continue to thrive for generations to come.
